Elderly Person Drowns in Rancho Mirage Hot Tub
Firefighters were called to a reported drowning at 8:50 a.m. Sunday.
RANCHO MIRAGE, CA -- Firefighters discovered a person drowned in a hot tub Sunday at a Rancho Mirage home. Firefighters were called to a reported drowning at 8:50 a.m. in the 20 block of Cresta Verde, according to Tawny Cabral of the Riverside County Fire Department.
The person was pronounced dead at the scene, Cabral said. No name or gender were immediately released, and the person was described only as elderly.
The Riverside County Sheriff's Department was investigating the death.
