Bark for Life is similar to Relay for Life — but with dogs. The event raises money for the American Cancer Society, according to organizers.
The event features a car show, vendors, dog competitions, demonstrations, and music. Animal rescue groups will have dogs available for adoption.
A descendant of Beethoven, the St. Bernard that starred in the Disney film, will be on hand with his owners to meet and greet the crowd from 9 a.m. to noon. Kilo, a grand champion St. Bernard from Banning, also is a certified therapy dog.

Twenty children who are cancer patients have been invited and will be honored at the event. They'll receive gift bags. They'll have an opportunity to make arts and crafts and some are bringing their dogs. Opening ceremonies start at 10 a.m. Organizers said the event also aims to show how dogs can help cancer patients.
Participants can walk their dogs (all must be leashed, vaccinated and licensed) around a track. Registration starts at 8 a.m. and is $10 per dog.
