Catch A Star Theatrical (CAST) Players announces their first National One Act Play Festival to take place June 22, 23 and 24 at the Beaumont Women’s Community Center.
For nearly a year, playwrights from around the country have submitted their original, unproduced and unpublished one act plays to a writing competition sponsored by CAST Players.
The six winning entries will be presented in sets of two per series and each of the three series will be performed once per day of the festival. Theater goers can buy a ticket for an individual series, or for all three and can attend all in one day or spread it out over the weekend. Patrons will even get the chance to vote for audience favorite and a separate awards ceremony and reception will be held Sunday evening to present prizes to the top three plays.
