music, vendors, authentic food, a Biergarten, Kids’ Zone and lots of fun. The 19th Century monarch, King Ludwig, will preside over a number of traditional Oktoberfest attractions, including German-Style bands, dancing, log-sawing contests, pretzel eating contest, authentic German food, Weiner Dog races and the Royal Bavarian Biergarten. In cooperation with the City of Beaumont Police Department, and courtesy of Perricone Juice of Beaumont, the event organizers are offering a designated driver program, which includes free lemonade during the Oktoberfest for the designated drivers. There will be plenty of vendors featuring hand crafted items, jewelry, toys and other specialty items. In the Kids’ Zone there will be games, arts & crafts, bouncers, and recreation activities.
