The featured work is Franz Schubert's Mass in G. It is a concert Mass with soloists, chorus and orchestra. It is the first time the Chorale has performed a Schubert Mass.
In addition, the Chorale will perform several Christmas anthems, including, "The Snow Lay on the Ground," by Leo Sowerby, and "Shepherd's Joy" by Mark Hayes, a Celtic carol with recorder, violin, piano, and percussion accompaniment.
The concert will end with a Carol Sing-Along, with the orchestra. It's not every day that people get to sing with an orchestra, and this is a popular feature of the winter concert.
Tickets: Recommended donation $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and students. Info: 951.849.4676
