REDLANDS, CA — Want to peek inside the historic San Timoteo Canyon Schoolhouse in Redlands? This weekend you can.
Fall Fest takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the schoolhouse and is free to attend. The schoolhouse, which is otherwise closed to the public, will open during the fest. The event features a flag-raising ceremony, Native American blessing, special exhibits, crafts for kids, free snow cones and cotton candy, a Maypole, food truck, and live music by Southern California’s singing cowboy Skeeter Mann, event officials said.
The San Timoteo Canyon Schoolhouse is located at 31985 San Timoteo Canyon Road and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It was built in 1883, just west of Beaumont, and still stands in the same location. In addition to festival activities, Fall Fest attendees can take self-guided tours of the schoolhouse.
