Family Terrorized At Gunpoint In RivCo Home, Suspects At Large

Three people were tied up and robbed inside their Riverside County home.

RIVERSIDE, CA — Three residents of a Riverside home were tied up and robbed at gunpoint overnight, according to Riverside Police.

The home located in the 14100 block of Ashton Lane was broken into by an unidentified number of robbers shortly before 10 p.m.

The family of three — two adults and a child — were forced into the bathroom at gunpoint and bound with duct tape, NBC4 reported. Meanwhile, robbers took cash, cell phones and other items and left their victims tied up, but were otherwise uninjured.

Ultimately, the victims were able to "free themselves and run to a neighbor's home where they called police," according to reports.

The as-of-yet unidentified suspects have not been found.
