Promoters for the Fabulous Palm Springs Follies announced MondayĀ that five shows have been added to meet demand in its final season.
The Follies, whose cast members range in age from 55 to 84 and performĀ pieces from the 1940s, '50s and '60s, announced in June that their 23rd seasonĀ would be the last.
The added shows are scheduled for Jan. 10 at 7 p.m.; Feb. 11 at 1:30Ā p.m.; Feb. 25 at 1:30 p.m.; April 4 at 7 p.m.; and May 14 at 7 p.m.
The season that opened earlier this month and ends May 18, themed "TheĀ Last Hurrah!", is a "greatest hits" run featuring the best dance numbers andĀ variety acts of past years, according to producer and co-founder RiffĀ Markowitz.
Headliners are Susan Anton, Maureen McGovern and Darlene Love.
