Fire Engulfs Single-Family Home In Banning

BANNING, CA — A fire burned down a single-family home in Banning late Sunday afternoon, but there were no reports of injuries.

The blaze was reported at 4:38 p.m. in the 300 block of East Barbour Street. When Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department crews arrived at the scene, they reported that the residence was "fully involved with fire," according to the agency.

Firefighters contained the blaze in under one hour, but they remained at the scene for several hours.
