Firefighter Injured In RivCo Blaze That Started At Mobile Home
The blaze spread to a nearby RV and possibly another single-wide trailer on Fircrest Lane, fire officials said.
JURUPA VALLEY, CA — A firefighter was injured Friday afternoon as crews battled a brush fire that erupted in Jurupa Valley at a mobile home and spread to nearby vegetation, fire officials said.
The blaze was reported at 4:50 p.m. near Pedley Road and Mission Boulevard just south the 60 Freeway, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Fire officials said multiple engine crews from the city and county responded to the fire and encountered flames raging at a mobile home, which spread across about a half-acre of vegetation.

A firefighter who entered the burning trailer to check for anyone who have been trapped reportedly suffered burns to his lower body. He was transported to local hospital for treatment.
