Firefighters Battle Beaumont House Fire Overnight

Upon arrival, the Incident Commander reported that an exterior fire was also burning and that the blaze had extended into the garage area.

BEAUMONT, CA — A Beaumont home caught fire overnight Monday, Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

Shortly after 8:30 p.m., firefighters rushed to the scene, where smoke was visible in the 1400 block of Yarrow Lane in Beaumont. "Firefighters responded to reports of a two-story residence with light smoke showing," they said.

Upon arrival, the Incident Commander reported that an exterior fire was also burning and that the blaze had extended into the garage area.

The fire was contained just before 9 p.m., and SoCal Gas and SoCal Edison were called to assist. No injuries reported.
