Flash Flood Watch In Banning, Beaumont: Weekly Weather Forecast
What's in store this week for the Pass Area? Monsoons expected to return next weekend to mountain areas.
BANNING, CA — Monsoonal showers were expected to hit parts of Riverside County, including Banning and Beaumont, Monday afternoon. The possibility of mountain rains could bring flash flooding to the area.
The National Weather Service issued a flood watch for all Riverside County mountains that will be in effect until at least 10 p.m. Monday. The NWS warned that excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
