"Food for Fines" at Beaumont Library
Pay off your overdue fines at $1 per food item donated

Beaumont Library will be accepting "Food for Fines" from November 3 through 16 in the spirit of the holidays! People who owe library fines can bring in non-perishable food donations to pay their late fees at $1 per item during this time. Free will donations will also be gladly received.
Many libraries across the country hold such programs during this time of year to promote good will and to serve an important need in the community. Only late fees may be covered by food donations. Individuals will still be responsible for the cost of any material they may have lost or damaged. Food collected will be contributed to Carol's Kitchen.
Beaumont Library, a California Special District independent of both city and county government, provides library services to Beaumont and Cherry Valley and is located at 125 E. Eighth Street in Beaumont. Call 951-845-1357 or visit bld.lib.ca.us for more information.
