Found It Again Reuse Store Returns To Lamb Canyon Landfill In May

BEAUMONT, CA — The Found It Again Reuse Store is returning to Lamb Canyon Landfill on May 30, according to a recent media release. The store will be open from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday May 30 at the landfill, located at 16411 Lamb Canyon Road in Beaumont.

At the Found It Again store, you can find heavily discounted, gently used items, such as tools, golf clubs, exercise equipment, bicycles, and more.

"All items are inspected and cleaned by our staff," they said.

The Found it Again Reuse Store was created as a way to save items in good condition from entering the waste stream.

"Staff monitors incoming items and ensures they are clean and inspected prior to purchase," a spokesperson for the store said. You never know what you'll find when you go. It depends entirely on the items dropped off for disposal, they said.

The practice is completely sustainable.

"Items can range from exercise or sports equipment to miscellaneous items, like toys, vintage goods, grills, and scooters."

Store Rules:

  • All visitors must check in at the Gate Fee Booth/Scale House before entering the landfill.
  • High-visibility safety vests and closed-toe shoes are required while visiting the landfill.
  • Store items are first-come, first-served.
  • Items without tags are claimed.
  • Prices are non-negotiable.
  • Children must be supervised by a parent. (Children should not be riding or playing with store items)
  • Any items in dispute between customers will not be sold.
  • Items may be purchased by credit card only (Master Card, Visa, Discover). Cash is not accepted.
