Free Hazardous Waste Disposal in Beaumont

Got paint or antifreeze piling up in the garage? Now you can dispose of it for free.

The Riverside County Waste Management Department today announced a new, free service that supplements the existing household hazardous-waste collection program.

The department recently added an antifreeze, battery, oil, paint and PaintCare Facility at its Lamb Canyon Landfill. The service is available for free to Riverside County residents from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. during non-holiday Saturdays. It is located at 16411 Lamb Canyon Road in Beaumont.

Waste from businesses or non-profits will not be accepted.

Typical waste accepted at the facility includes antifreeze, household and automotive batteries, used motor oil, paints, cooking oil, aerosols, mercury containing equipment, fluorescent bulbs/tubes, and electronic wastes such as televisions, computers, VCRs and telephones.
