SAN GORGONIO PASS AREA, CA — An injury crash on eastbound Interstate 10 Thursday morning resulted in a big-rig fuel spill that closed all lanes for several hours.
The crash was reported at 7:14 a.m. near 8th Street in Banning and involved a big rig and truck, according to a preliminary report from the California Highway Patrol.

Minor injuries were reported.

According to the CHP, Hazmat crews were on scene mopping up 100 gallons of spilled diesel fuel.
It's unknown when the freeway will fully reopen, although the #1 and #2 lanes were expected to reopen soon, according to the CHP.
