Gasoline Prices Near Banning, Beaumont Drop Again After Nine Hikes in 11 Days

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire dropped a half-cent Friday to $2.811, the third consecutive decrease after rising nine times in 11 days.
The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties is 1.7 cents less than one week ago and 5.5 cents lower than one year ago but 4.4 cents higher than one month ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price has dropped 2.1 cents over the past three days after rising 7.3 cents during the 11-day stretch of increases.

"Los Angeles wholesale and rack gasoline prices have both fallen sharply over the last week, indicating that earlier supply issues are apparently resolved, but pump prices have been slow to follow suit so far,” said Jeffrey Spring, the Automobile Club of Southern California's corporate communications manager.
