Grass Fire Slows Both Sides Of 60 Freeway Near Beaumont

BEAUMONT, CA — A grass fire Monday near state Route 60 and Gilman Springs Road is slowing traffic through the area.

The California Highway Patrol began receiving reports of the blaze at about 12 noon.

Traffic is very slow on both sides of the freeway from Gilman Springs to Interstate 10, according to SigAlert.com.

There was no immediate word on the cause of the blaze.
