Hangar 24 AirFest 2019: All Things Aviation, Live Music & Beer
The 2-day event to be held this weekend includes heart-pounding aerial performances, aircraft displays, live music and beer.
From The City of Redlands:Hangar 24 AirFest and 11th Anniversary, presented by Hangar 24 Charities, roars through the skies over Redlands Airport this weekend. The two-day event held Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, 19 includes heart-pounding aerial performances, aircraft displays, live music and beer festival.
Headlined by the U.S. Air Force A-10 Demonstration Team, this weekendās AirFest offers a lineup that promises to keep audiences on the edge of their seats. Spectators can view exhilarating performances from the U.S. Navy VFA-122 F-18, U.S. Marine Corps Osprey, U.S. Air Force C-17and KC-135 Demo Teams and an awe-inspiring lineup of world-class civilian aerobatic performers including Redlands pilot, Tony Higa. Attendees will enjoy live music from a variety of artists both days of AirFest! Saturday, May 18 will include performances from Fender Kids Rock, outlaw country artist Michael Austin and classic rock cover band Platinum Rockstars featuring David Victor from the band Boston. Sunday, May 19 features the Wheeland Brothers beach rock reggae sound and Mark Wood and the Parrot Bandās tribute to Jimmy Buffet.
Donāt miss Hangar 24ās second annual Invitational Beer Festival on Saturday, May 18 from 12-3:30pm featuring 30 local craft breweries. Attendees can purchase tickets onsite to taste from each of the participants. Throughout the weekend, AirFest guests can also take in miles of aircraft displays, vendors and interactive exhibits, including a FREE Kids Zone along the ramp and Redlands BMX racer James Foster!

AirFest festivities begin Friday, May 17 with a closed to the public rehearsal show from 1-5pm, please be advised aircraft noise will be elevated during this time. The public is welcomed to join the fun on Saturday, May 18 from noon-10pm, with flying performances from 3-7pm and Sunday, May 19 from 11am-6pm, with flying performances from 12pm-4pm. Aircraft will be arriving Thursday, May 16, there may be increased noise levels throughout the day.
