High School Schedules Finalized
Banning and Beaumont face off in football on Friday, Oct. 7 at Nicolet Middle School.
The Fall Sports Schedule has been finalized and, as is customary, Banning and Beaumont will square off in a number of sports throughout the 2011-2012 school year.
Football
In football, Beaumont will open the season on Sept. 2 at home against Valley View. For the Cougars it will be the first of five home games.

And the Cougars will host rival San Jacinto on Oct. 21. Last season Beaumont finished atop the league standings but sustained its only loss to the Tigers.
There are no real surprises on Banning’s schedule. The Broncos open the season at Bloomington but get to host Twentynine Palms on Sept. 23 and Beaumont on Oct. 7. The Broncos, however, have to play at San Jacinto on Sept. 30.

Volleyball
The volleyball season will be an extremely busy one for Banning and Beaumont. Combined the two teams will play nearly 40 regular season matches.
The sole tournament appearance will be made by Beaumont at the Hilltop HS Invitational. The Cougars will open the season at Cathedral City on Sept. 8 and one week later host a three match home stand against Valley View, Jurupa Hills and Twentynine Palms.
Banning opens the season at Loma Linda Academy on Sept. 6 and the following week has the first of three 3-match road trips.
Boys water polo
Beaumont opens the season at home against Norco and then leaps into a tough tournament schedule that includes appearances in the Riverside County Invitational and two separate stops in the Servite Tournament.
Girls tennis
Beaumont opens the season at Palm Springs and then has a four match home stand against Yucaipa, Cathedral City, Rancho Verde and San Gorgonio. The Mountain Pass League finals will be held at San Jacinto High School.
Banning opens the season by hosting Twentynine Palms on Sept. 8.
Banning and Beaumont will not play each other during the regular season.
Cross Country
The boys and girls teams at Banning and Beaumont will make the trips to the Woodbridge Invitational (Sept. 17), Inland Empire Championships (Oct. 8) and the Mt. Sac Invitational (Oct. 22).
Banning will run in the Yucaipa Invitational on Oct. 1 and Beaumont will run in the Arcadia Invitational Oct. 28.
