House Fire Reported In Beaumont

BEAUMONT, CA — Firefighters were working Tuesday afternoon to contain a house fire in Beaumont.

The blaze was reported at 2:51 p.m. in the 1500 block of Lakeview Street, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

"Firefighters are on-scene of a two-story structure with an active fire on the upper floor," the fire department shared on social media.

There were no immediate reports of injuries and no word on what started the fire.

Crews were expected to remain in the area for several hours.
