Huell Howser's cameraman entertains historical society audience
Luis Fuerte, cameraman for the late Huell Howser's "California's Gold" television series shares stories from his years working with Howser.
Nearly 100 people gathered to hear Luis Fuerte speak at the Nov. 8, 2018, meeting of the San Gorgonio Pass Historical Society. Fuerte, the cameraman for the late Huell Howser's "California's Gold" television series, shared stories of his years shooting the show with Howser and their many adventures while travelling the state for their stories. Fuerte also signed his book, Louie, Take a Look at This! My Time with Huell Howser, after the presentation. The next historical society meeting is Thursday, Dec. 13, 7 p.m., at the Beaumont Woman's Club, 306 E. 6th Street, Beaumont.
