I-10 Crash In Cabazon Leaves 2 People Injured

CABAZON, CA — A multi-vehicle crash Monday afternoon on eastbound Interstate 10 in Cabazon left two people injured.

The crash was reported just before 1:30 p.m. east of the Main Street overpass.

According to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department, three vehicles were involved.

"Two patients were transported to a local hospital via ground ambulance with minor injuries," the agency reported. "Eight other patients were assessed on scene and declined further treatment or transport.

The freeway's #1 lane was blocked due to the crash investigation.

The crash cause remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
