I-10 SIG Alert: Overturned Semi Truck Wreaks Havoc On Morning Traffic

RIVERSIDE, CA — Several lanes of westbound Interstate 10 in Cabazon were blocked due to an overturned big rig, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Shortly before 8:45 a.m., a semitruck was toppled in lanes, blocking the slow through middle lanes of westbound I-10 just east of Morongo Trail, according to CHP dispatch.

Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire was called, but later waived off at the scene. No injuries were reported from this collision.

Two lanes of travel reopened by 9:45 a.m., however, the Morongo Trail offramp and the #4 lane remained closed for vehicle recovery, according to CHP dispatch.
