Idyllwild Jazz Festival In The Pines 2017: Entertainment Lineup, Dates And More
In addition to musical entertainment, there will be about 50 food and crafts vendors at the annual event.

IDYLLWILD, CA - The 24th annual Idyllwild Jazz Festival in the Pines, scheduled for Aug. 11-13, will feature more than two dozen artists on multiple stages at a mile-high venue. The event will be centered at the Idyllwild Arts Academy campus, with the majority of performances at the Holmes Amphitheater.
On the festival's first night, a "VIP Dinner & Dance" will feature a fundraiser with music by Besos de Coco and the Gilbert Hansen Band, keeping diners on their feet with upbeat rhythms.
The festival will get into full swing on Saturday, Aug. 12, during which bands will play the main stage, the French Quarter, Stephens Hall and Lowman Concert Hall. Performances are generally scheduled between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Chuck Alvarez & Satellite Voodoo, the Definiens, Frisson, the Joshua White Quartet, the Rose Mallett Quarter and the Yve Evans Trio will all be playing sets.
On the final day, Andre Thierry Accordian Soul Music, Eric Kufs, the Gand Band, Harry Pickens, the Henry Franklin Quartet, Jazzgrass, the Singularity Project and the Voices in Praise Gospel Choir will take the stage, along with the Euphoria Brass Band and the Tamir Hendelman Trio.

In addition to musical entertainment, there will be about 50 food and crafts vendors, as well as informational booths about the academy, which uses funds from the festival to support scholarships for aspiring musicians.
Admission is $85 for a daylong pass and $150 for a two-day passport.
