Who's ready to chicken-dance?

BEAUMONT, CA — Dust off your lederhosen and dirndls! The annual King Ludwig's Oktoberfest is returning to Beaumont for 2021.

After a 2020 cancellation due to pandemic-related restrictions, the three-day festival, now in its 31st year, will be held Sept. 17-19 at Noble Creek Park.

Hosted by the Beaumont-Cherry Valley Recreation and Park District, the German-inspired, family-friendly celebration will make its triumphant, oom-pah return with contest traditions for stein-carrying, pretzel-whistling, log-sawing and strudel-eating, along with a biergarten, kids' zone, dancing, live entertainment and an array of authentic, Bavarian food.
