Little Change to Gasoline Prices Near Banning, Beaumont

The average price of regular gasoline in the Inland Empire is $2.686.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire rose one-tenth of a cent Friday to $2.686, one day after dropping two-tenths of a cent.

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties is four- tenths of a cent more than one week ago but 13.8 cents less than one month ago and 2.6 cents below what it was one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price has risen four times and dropped three times following a stretch of 22 decreases in 24 days.

"Los Angeles wholesale gasoline prices jumped last week on news of OPEC production cuts in January, but have since then settled back down to where they were before the announcement, leaving room for additional pump price drops if they stay at that level,” said Jeffrey Spring, the Automobile Club of Southern California's corporate communications manager.
