Little Girl Found Dead In Beaumont Apartment With OD'd Adults
The 4-year-old child had been dead for one to two days. A woman at the home later died, and a man was hospitalized in critical condition.

BEAUMONT, CA — A devastating incident reported this week by the Beaumont Police Department shows the often heartbreaking fallout of drug use.
Around 8:54 p.m. Wednesday, Beaumont police were called by Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department to an apartment in the 800 block of E. 6th Street. Firefighter paramedics were first dispatched due to reports of someone at the residence having a seizure.
But when crews arrived, they found a dead little girl and a man and woman who appeared to be overdosing.

The two adults were hospitalized, but the woman did not survive. At last report, the man was listed in critical condition.
Police did not disclose what drugs were found at the apartment.

Based on the condition of the 4-year-old girl's body, police said she had been dead for one to two days. She also looked severely malnourished and had bruises across her body.
The names of the three were not released pending notification of next of kin.
The case remains under investigation.
