The Living Desert Zoo Announces New Year's Eve Party
The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens will hold a 'Mildly Wild New Year's Eve Party' on December 31 in Palm Desert.
From Cord Media Company: Ring in the new year with a roar at The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens at the inaugural Mildly Wild New Yearās Eve Party, December 31 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the Palm Garden.
The celebration includes a scrumptious surf and turf dinner followed by live entertainment and dancing. Guests will experience all of the fun and excitement of New Yearās Eve earlier, as The Living Desert will offer a complimentary champagne toast when the ball drops on the East coast at 9 p.m.
The evening also features animal encounters and a special performance of the big band sounds of Dave Damiani and The No Vacancy Orchestra playing the styles of Frank Sinatra, Count Basie, Jamie Cullum, among other favorites. Based in Los Angeles, Damiani and his professional orchestra can be found playing in major venues across the country.

In honor of Year of the Cheetah, the zooās year-long effort to raise awareness and funds for the endangered animals, attendees are encouraged to wear their best cheetah print outfit.

Tickets for the Mildly Wild New Yearās Eve Party are $125 per person and can be purchased online. For more information call (760) 346-5694. Ticket admission includes: champagne toast (21+), one complimentary drink ticket, dinner, and dancing.
