Local Music Competition

The San Gorgonio Pass Rotary is sponsoring the 2017 Rotary Music Competition to be held 6 pm Feb 17th at the Banning Women's Club (175 W. Hays Street Banning CA 92220).

This is a special competition designed to propel and promote the wonderful talent the Pass Area has to offer on the high school level. It doesn't matter if you are a freshman or a senior, if you play an instrument and/or sing you may qualify to participate.

The San Gorgonio Pass Rotary is a community-focused non-profit service organization which serves the Pass Area community in a variety of ways which help and promote Pass Area youth and youth programs. The San Gorgonio Pass Rotary meets every Thursday at 6:45 a.m. at the famed Russo's Italian Kitchen located at: 1335 W Ramsey St, Banning, CA 92220 (all are invited to attend).

Participants who advance from the Pass Area Competition will have the opportunity to compete for cash rewards ranging up to $1,000. Banning High School student Clara Santos took 1st place in Vocal Performance at the local competition and then took 2nd place at the District competition!
