My family has barely made it out alive with only the clothes on our backs. We are grateful to be able to talk about it. Our thoughts now revolve around access via the 243 to Banning, reaching out to neighbors and creating contacts in order to help with the cleaning and rebuilding. As many others, we have not received any reverse 911 calls or evacuation orders and decided to drive through flames to get out because sheltering in would've meant certain death.
