Man Found Dead In RivCo With Injuries; Homicide Suspected

PERRIS, CA — A man was found dead on Sunday afternoon in a rural community east of Lake Perris, authorities announced Wednesday.

Deputies were sent to the area of Nuevo Road and Foothill Avenue in the unincorporated area of Nuevo around 12:30 p.m., the Riverside County Sheriff's Department said.

When deputies found the man, they discovered that he had traumatic injuries, which they determined was the result of a homicide.

The man's identify has not been released and is pending the notification of his kin.
