Mill Valley Invites High School Students to Apply for Summer Internship

The internship is even paid.

The following is a news release from the city of Mill Valley:


The City of Mill Valley’s Department Public Works would like to invite Tam High School students to apply for a summer 2015 internship position through the Metropolitan Transportation Commission. The deadline to apply for this paid internship is Sunday, March 8, 2015.

The intern will participate in the following:

  • Work directly with Engineers in the area of transportation
  • Assist with Bicycle and Pedestrian projects
  • Use surveying equipment to assist with drainage projects
  • Create maps using GIS mapping software
  • Meet City leaders and staff
