Moreno Valley Businesses Evacuated Due To Gas Line Leak

SoCal Gas Co. technicians were requested at the scene to repair the gas line.

MORENO VALLEY, CA — A damaged gas line at a business in Moreno Valley prompted evacuation of two nearby businesses Tuesday.

The gas leak was reported shortly before 8 a.m. Tuesday in the 23050 block of Sunnymead Boulevard, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

The agency said several engine crews were sent to the location and confirmed the leak was coming from an outside broken line, prompting two businesses to evacuate as a precaution.
