Over 1,000 Marijuana Plants Seized From Illegal Grow Operation In IE Neighborhood

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA — More than 1,000 cannabis plants were seized during an investigation into a suspected illegal grow operation in a suburban Southern California neighborhood, authorities said.
Authorities launched an investigation last week after investigators learned about a possible marijuana cultivation at a home in the 7000 block of Breno Place in Rancho Cucamonga, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.
Just before 8 p.m. on June 19, deputies served a search warrant at the home on where they found 1,016 cannabis plants in various stages of cultivation, as well as about seven pounds of processed marijuana.

Code enforcement officials shut down the property after authorities reported multiple "unauthorized" modifications to the property, including an electrical bypass, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Office.
No arrests have been made in connection with the case.
