Pass Area Performing Artists to Hold Auditions
"Death by Golf" will run for two weekends in November.

Pass Area Performing Artists is holding auditions for its season opening performance of "Death by Golf."
The play will be directed by Robert Ciresi, Jr., who has been involved with the Riverside Community Players and the Redlands Footlighters.
"PAPA is proud and excited to welcome its newest guest director who brings a refreshing enthusiasm to the stage," organizers said in a press release.
Auditions run from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16, and 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17 at the PAPA Theater at the Banning Cultural Alliance, 175 W. Hays St., Banning.
The roles available include:
- Grandpa, a good-hearted scrappy old-timer and newly-wed
- Ashley, a little frantic and a little impulsive
- Muriel, a serious-minded attorney
- Tony, subject of a 5-state manhunt and newly-wed
- Prescott, articulate, resourceful, charming, homicidal.
The show will run for two weekends, Nov. 9-11 and Nov. 16-18.
