Pedestrian Struck, Killed On 215 Freeway In Riverside County: CHP
The collision closed all lanes of the southbound freeway at Blaine for approximately three hours.
RIVERSIDE, CA — California Highway Patrol officers Thursday are investigating a fatal collision on the 215 Freeway in Riverside where a pedestrian was killed.
CHP officers responded at 2 a.m. Thursday to the southbound freeway and Blaine Street where they found the pedestrian lying in the middle lanes of the freeway, a CHP spokeswoman told City News Service.
The victim, whose name, age and gender were not immediately known, was pronounced dead at the scene.
