Person Killed In Single-Vehicle Crash On I-10 In Banning

BANNING, CA — A person was killed Sunday morning during a single- vehicle crash on the Redlands (10) Freeway in Banning, authorities said.

The crash occurred at about 7:35 a.m. Sunday on the eastbound freeway, east of Sunset Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A vehicle went off the roadway, down the right shoulder and landed at the bottom of a freeway on-ramp, the CHP reported.

A representative from the Riverside County coroner's office was called to the scene at 8:02 a.m.

No further information was immediately available.
