Police Chase Ends With Crash Into MoVal Denny's Restaurant
Sheriff's officials say a woman crashed into the eatery Wednesday morning.

A woman was arrested Wednesday morning after leading police on a short chase that ended when she crashed her car into a Denny’s Restaurant in Moreno Valley, police said.
The pursuit began in Riverside about 6 a.m. and lasted about five minutes, said Riverside police Lt. Gary Leach. That’s when the woman driving took the Perris Boulevard offramp from the eastbound Pomona (60) Freeway, lost control of her vehicle and crashed into the Denny’s at 24952 Sunnymead Boulevard, Leach added.
Leach said the woman had a warrant out for her arrest stemming from an earlier incident but he didn’t know why the pursuit began Wednesday.

“I haven’t talked with the officers yet who arrested her but the pursuit did not began because of that warrant,” Leach said. “It may have been some kind of vehicle violation.”
Leach said the woman did not appear to be hurt but that she was taken to a hospital as a precaution. She was not immediately booked.
