Police ID Man Murdered on Banning Street

Authorities have identified the man shot and killed on Hargrave Street in Banning last Thursday.

BANNING, CA — Authorities have identified the man shot and killed on Hargrave Street in Banning last Thursday.

According to the Riverside County Coroner's office, the victim was Henry Waters, 20, of Cabazon.

According to the Banning Police Department, officials received a call of shots fired in the area of East Hoffer and Hargrave Streets just after 3 a.m.

"When Officers arrived they located a 20-year-old victim laying in the street, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds," police said in a news release. "Paramedics responded to the scene, but were unable to revive the victim and he was pronounced dead at the scene."

No suspects have been named in the case, and police asked that anyone with information in the deadly shooting call the Banning Police Department Detective Bureau at (951) 922-3170.
