Redlands Native Creates Both Goals as Everton Beat Fulham in English FA Cup

Landon Donovan, 29, is on a 10-week loan from the Los Angeles Galaxy with Everton FC in England's Premier League.

Redlands native Landon Donovan set up both Everton goals Friday in Liverpool as his team defeated Fulham FC of London 2-1 in England's FA Cup competition.

The soccer match was billed in the United States as a matchup between Donovan and his U.S. national teammate Clint Dempsey of Texas, who scored two hat tricks earlier this month for Fulham.

But Dempsey had a quiet day while Donovan and Everton earned a comeback victory at Goodison Park to advance to the FA Cup Fifth Round.
