Riverside County Coronavirus Update: 356 New Cases, 1 New Death

There are 356 new cases of the coronavirus in Riverside County as of Tuesday.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — There are 356 new cases of the coronavirus in Riverside County as of Tuesday, according to newly released county health department data, bringing the county's total case count to 38,387.

One additional death was reported on Tuesday, bringing the total number of coronavirus-related deaths in the county to 738, according to the Riverside University Health System.

As of Tuesday, there are currently 450 hospitalized COVID-19 patients, including 133 patients in intensive care. The county has tested 375,518 people and 20,079 patients have recovered.

The county has seen 2,683 coronavirus cases in long term care facilities patients and staff, with 1,623 patient cases and 1,060 staff cases.

  • 5-17: 2,557 cases
