Riverside County Coronavirus Update: 590 New Cases, 14 New Deaths

There are 590 new cases of the coronavirus in Riverside County as of Wednesday.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — There are 590 new cases of the coronavirus in Riverside County as of Wednesday, according to newly released county health department data, bringing the county's total case count to 38,977.

There were 14 additional deaths reported on Wednesday, bringing the total number of coronavirus-related deaths in the county to 752, according to the Riverside University Health System.

As of Wednesday, there are currently 411 hospitalized COVID-19 patients, including 134 patients in intensive care. The county has tested 378,977 people and 20,687 patients have recovered.

The county has seen 2,699 coronavirus cases in long term care facilities patients and staff, with 1,636 patient cases and 1,063 staff cases.
