Riverside County Sees 29 New Deaths In 24 Hours
There are 711 new cases of the coronavirus in Riverside County as of Friday.
RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — There are 711 new cases of the coronavirus in Riverside County as of Friday, according to newly released county health department data, bringing the county's total case count to 40,452.
There were 29 additional deaths reported on Friday, bringing the total number of coronavirus-related deaths in the county to 799, according to the Riverside University Health System.
As of Friday, there are currently 409 hospitalized COVID-19 patients, including 125 patients in intensive care. The county has tested 382,816 people and 21,121 patients have recovered.

The county has seen 2,758 coronavirus cases in long term care facilities patients and staff, with 1,674 patient cases and 1,084 staff cases.

- 5-17: 2,772 cases
