Riverside County Woman Vanishes, Car Found In Northern California

Tu Thuy Nguyen, 34, was last heard from on May 4, and investigators are looking for clues into her disappearance.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — Investigators in Riverside County, Oxnard and Yuba County are looking for information on what happened to a 34-year-old woman who disappeared from Jurupa Valley on May 4 and has not been heard from since.

Tu Thuy Nguyen was reported missing by a friend from Oxnard, and on Wednesday the Riverside County Sheriff's Department received a missing person report from the Oxnard Police Department.

Nguyen was last seen around 12 p.m. May 4 leaving Jurupa Valley in her green 2019 Dodge Charger, according to the sheriff's department. She was possibly heading to Los Angeles, but on May 7 her car was found unoccupied in Northern California's Yuba County.

Family members and friends have had no contact with her since her disappearance, the sheriff's department said.

Nguyen is described as an Asian female, 5 feet, 2 inches tall, weighing 200 pounds. She was last seen wearing a red dress with a black belt.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is asking anyone with information about Nguyen's possible whereabouts to contact Master Investigator Merrill at the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station, 951-955-2600. The public may also submit tips using the sheriff’s CrimeTips online form.
