Riverside Man Accused Of Sexually Abusing 12-Year-Old Girl
A 30-year-old man accused of sexually abusing a girl in Riverside remained jailed Saturday in lieu of $3 million bail.
RIVERSIDE, CA — A 30-year-old man accused of sexually abusing a girl in Riverside remained jailed Saturday in lieu of $3 million bail.
The Riverside Police Department said Robert Downing Scott Jr. met a 12- year-old girl on social media, groomed her and then committed multiple aggravated sexual assaults against her over the past six months.
He was arrested Wednesday at a location near University and Chicago avenues, according to jail records.

Scott, a Riverside resident, was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center on suspicion of 18 felony counts related to child sexual abuse.
