SCWXA Thunderstorm Watch Issued For Banning Pass

The Southern California Weather Authority has issued a Thunderstorm Watch effective now through evening …
Issued September 4, 2013 at 10:20am -

Southeast flow in the area has already brought with it a group of thunderstorms across Imperial County this morning … and these look sustained and moving north-northwest with time … areas along I-10 and into the Coachella Valley and Morongo Basin areas will be hit with these storms so expect rapidly deteriorating conditions through the day …

Elsewhere, southeast flow will make the RIV/San Diego County Mountains have thunderstorms yet again, spreading northward to the Eastern San Bernardino Mountains.  These storms will move northwest with time, which means that even the Eastern Inland Empire zones from Banning/Beaumont through Hemet/San Jacinto will see activity.  How far west these will go is to be determined but for now the Eastern Inland Empire has been covered in this watch.
