Search Continues For Missing Couple Whose Car Was Found In Beaumont

The vehicle was discovered along the side of the freeway in Beaumont on Friday but the couple is still missing, police say.

BEAUMONT, CA – The whereabouts of a missing couple whose car was found abandoned in Beaumont on Friday remain unknown, as police continue to ask the public for help in finding the man and woman last seen in the Coachella Valley on Wednesday. Aubrey Moran, 26, and Jonathan Reynoso, 28, went missing after Moran left her mother's Coachella home to give Reynoso a ride to his home in Palm Desert on Wednesday, according to Indio police Sgt. Daniel Marshall. They haven't been seen since.

The only other known communication between the duo and loved ones was on Wednesday night, when police say Moran sent her sister a "selfie" photo, which indicated she was in Palm Desert at the time.

"That was the last contact anyone has had with the pair," Indio police Sgt. Daniel Marshall said in a news release. "Family members became concerned after a multitude of unsuccessful attempts to contact Audrey throughout the day on Thursday..."
