Sidewalk Construction Project Begins Near Sundance Elementary In Beaumont

BEAUMONT, CA — Construction work has begun on the 8th Street Sidewalk Improvement Project between Xenia Ave and Allegheny St. and will continue into the summer, city officials announced on Wednesday.

The project, which includes a new sidewalk, curb and gutter, and wider road, is expected to improve pedestrian safety and roadway conditions near Sundance Elementary School, the city said on Facebook.

Construction will continue through the summer break and is expected to be completed before students return to Sundance.
