SILVER ALERT: Missing Woman May Be In Riverside County
An 80-year-old San Pedro woman who disappeared from her residence 2 days ago may be in Riverside County, prompting a Silver Alert.
RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — An 80-year-old woman who disappeared from her San Pedro residence two days ago may be in Riverside County, prompting authorities Thursday to include the area in her Silver Alert.
The California Highway Patrol issued the alert, which focuses on finding missing seniors throughout the state, for Maclovia Chavez.
Her loved ones reported her missing to the Los Angeles Police Department after she failed to return home Tuesday.

Chavez was last seen around noon in the area of South Pacific Avenue and 14th Street, according to the CHP.
She is Hispanic, with short gray hair and brown eyes, standing 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighing 130 pounds. It was unclear what she may have been wearing when she left home.
